Micro Rake Fucking Sucks

So I posted a while back on how AP gave me the free $5 to come back and I turned it into $900 or some shit before cashing out because I needed the cash for something.
Anyway they gave me another $5 of course a few months back and I started at the $0.02/0.04 tables and have ran it up to over $500 again playing all micro HU.  More for the challenge than the money.
My pokergrapher chart was basically a solid 45 degree line upwards until I hit $0.50/1.00 HU tables.  The opp play hadn't inproved much at all yet the graph seemed to plateau which I remember happenning last time I did this little test. 
I used my PT stats to see that I was paying about 10bb/100 in rake now!  Who the fuck plays these limits?!?!  I should just write AP a check and save myself some time.  Even with RB/points/bonus I'm still fighting an uphill battle like no other.  The other night some guy sat with $30.00 and he ended up losing it all to me in about 150 hands.  Guess how much I was up after the match.... $3.47 
I know this is not a new subject but I just feel the need to bring it up today.  Now I'm left with depositing a few grand and hit the $5/10 tables or take my $500 consolation prize.  But these days there are always 10 HU tables at every level 5/10 and up waiting for the next customer...I'm not sure I have the patience.
